Basic Design: Chibi!

This website is for a science genius hour project about crocheting. Basically, you do something you've always wanted to do in class for ~ 8 weeks. I chose crocheting. I already know how to crochet, but I want to come up with my own crochet designs.

The picture above was something I created as a test for the crochet design I had come up with. If you're decent at crocheting and would like to make your own version of this, look below. If you don't know how to crochet, I will be posting a video showing how to soon!

sc: single crochet

sc2tog: single crochet 2 together

sl st: slip stitch

BODY:

1. magic (6st)

2. 2sc in each st (12)

3. 1sc, and 2sc in next st (18)

4. 2sc, and 2sc in next st (24)

5. 3sc, and 2sc in next st (30)

6. 20sc, then alternate 1sc and 2sc in next st (35)

7. 1sc in each st (35)

8. 1sc in each st (35)

*where you should add eyes ((9st apart)), but don’t if you’re going to flip it inside out*

9. 1sc in each st (35)

11. 20sc, then alternate 1sc and sc2tog in next st (30)
